The Great British Bake Off Winner, Food Writer and TV presenter David Atherton is delivering an exclusive wine paired gourmet vegetarian supper club. The price is £85. David is well known to millions of people as the winner of the 2019 series of the popular television series The Great British Bake Off and has gone on to establish himself as a sought after TV presenter and well regarded food writer. David has created an imaginative vegetarian gourmet menu for the exclusive vegetarian supper club which will take place in North London on Saturday 25 March at 7 pm. Wine paired gourmet vegetarian menu Aperitif Pickles, preserves, focaccia and cultured butter Amuse bouche Warm spiced soup with dukkah and roasted chickpeas Starter Chard cake, pickled flageolet beans and heritage grains, sriracha pearls, mixed leaves Main Root vegetable flakey pie, carraway braised tundra cabbage, sprouting broccoli and salsa verde Dessert Ginger and peach tart with burnt honey Chocolate bite Marzipan crumble square Mini lamington Tea and Coffee & Petit Fours Proceeds from the evening will support a mix of community, medical and animal welfare charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, David's nominated charity this year. The Brun Bear Foundation is a long-term supporter of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
