4 May, 8:00 AM–9:00 AM  ·  Battersea

Event details

I would love to introduce you to the most fundamental health practice we do everyday breathing, I’m a Wim Hof Method instructor focused on human performance and emotional release and Oxygen Advantage Instructor focused on functional breathing and high altitude training. Breathwork is a practice that involves consciously controlling and manipulating one's breathing patterns to achieve specific outcomes, such as relaxation, increased energy, or emotional release. Various techniques and methods exist within breathwork practices, each with its own set of benefits and purposes. These techniques often combine deep, rhythmic breathing with specific patterns, durations, and focuses. The practice is rooted in ancient traditions and is found in many cultures around the world, from yogic pranayama in India to specific breathing exercises in traditional Chinese medicine. Modern breathwork sessions might incorporate guided instructions, visualization, and music to enhance the experience. Benefits attributed to breathwork include stress reduction, improved mental clarity, enhanced emotional well-being, increased energy levels, and a deeper connection to oneself. Some practitioners also believe that certain breathwork techniques can facilitate healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels by promoting the release of stored emotions and traumas. Overall, breathwork offers a powerful tool for self-exploration, relaxation, and holistic health, making it a valuable practice for those seeking to enhance their well-being and personal development.
