Event details

On Monday, October 23, 2023, in Paris, my team of the Naked Heart France is organizing its Second International Forum, titled 'Bridging the Gaps: Evidence-Based Strategies to address challenging behavior in children on the autism spectrum.' This event is part of a series dedicated to parents, family members of autistic children, and professionals working with them. Autism is one of the most prevalent developmental disorders, and there is a significant global demand for current knowledge and support programs. According to the latest international data, one in 36 children could be on the autism spectrum. This forum offers a unique opportunity for professionals and parents to connect with experts in the field and engage with others who face similar challenges. The creation of a supportive community is invaluable and will contribute to the well-being and development of autistic children, holding vital significance for both parents and professionals. Event Programme: • 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Welcome • 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Forum • Opening Speech by Natalia Vodianova, Founder of Naked Heart France • Professor Thomas Bourgeron, Institut Pasteur, member of the Académie des Sciences, and professor at the Université Paris Cité, presenting 'What Research Tells Us About Autism' • Presentations on evidence-based strategies for addressing challenging behaviors in children with autism, including aggression, self-injury, property destruction, ingestion of non-edible objects, and elopement.
