With everything going outisde and inside our brains and souls right now, what we need more than ever are hugs 🤗 . I will take you for a mindful walk in a Hampstead spring 🍂 forest, we will hug trees 🌲 and have a conversation on the secrets of forest bath techniques and well-being and longevity life hacks in general. Shinrin yoku 森林浴 or forest bath is a scientifically proven therapeutic technique founded in 1982 (the year i was born) by Tomohide Akyiama, a head of Japan’s 🇯🇵 Forestry Agency. Forest bath has proven that getting outside, into nature is really good for everyone 🤗. It turns the volume down 🔇on stuff no one wants. It reduces 🔕 stress. It makes us feel less hostile ☺️. It decreases depressive 😑 symptoms. It lowers cortisol, blood pressure, pulse rate. It helps sleep better 😴. Let’s go outside and offline let’s have a forest bath!
