Over the years I have approached several activities and to this day I am still practicing those that noticeably changed my life. Weight training,Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, meditation, breath work, icebath, cold showers, reading along with a healthy plant based 🌱 wholesome diet all brought a deep sense of purpose and gratitude in my life. I came to realise that life will always be challenging, so you better be prepared for it. These teachings instilled in me a desire to share my knowledge with others and create deep relationships with like minded people. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) aka Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defence system that is aimed to neutralise an aggressor without harming them. The art is an effective way to neutralise an aggressor, using their attacker’s energy against them, through techniques such as pins, joint locks, and throws. Unlike most self-defense systems that rely heavily on strength, speed, and coordination, BJJ employ leverage, technique, and timing, so anyone, regardless of age or athletic ability, can make them work against larger and stronger opponents. In our trial class you’ll learn both the psychological and physical aspects of self-defence, also breath work and meditation. “It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.” is a paraphrase of a Chinese proverb. Meaning, It’s better to prepared even in peaceful days than be sorry when times come to it, we hope that never happen but if does one must be ready. OSS
