Hey all! With good weather coming, I have planned a hike around Box Hill on Sunday 25th February at 11:00am. This is a lovely varied loop taking in a good mix of sights and terrains as you make your way round the countryside. The trail heads up Box Hill and Juniper Hill before heading into Mickleham. The trail then sweeps round through Norbury Park and Ashcombe Wood, with a very likely pit-stop at Denby’s Wine 🍷 Estate and back to the start. There are great views on a clear day from the hill tops along this route. The route details are as follows: 📏Distance: 15.6km / 9.7miles 🗻Elevation: 685meters (a moderate incline) ⏱️Estimated time: 5-5.5 hours with time included for breaks. 🕰️ Start Point & Time: 11:00 from Dorking Station Car Park, Station Approach, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 1TF 🚝 1h12m from Victoria/1hr from Clapham Junction (DIRECT trains).
