Welcome to the Wimbledon Park Tennis Club! This group is aimed at Wimbledon based locals who are keen to organise casual tennis sessions with similarly experienced players at Wimbledon Park’s tennis courts. Please message the group to propose a date and time to play, stating whether you’re looking for a singles or doubles match, and the level of experience: - Beginner (just started) - Improver (know the basics) - Intermediate (confident and consistent) - Advanced (seasoned pro) Once organised, one of the participants will need to book the court on the LTA website. There are 20 courts available to book. You need to be an LTA member, but this is free and easy to do. Go to: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/TennisInMerton/Membership/Join Select ‘Tennis Membership’. Once you are a member you can use the online booking sheet to pick a court at a time and date you would like to play: https://clubspark.lta.org.uk/WimbledonPark/Booking/ You will be given a confirmation email with details including a unique PIN for you to use at one of the specific gates to access the court. Rates per hour are: £9.70 off peak (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) £12.60 peak (Mon-Fri 5pm-9pm, and weekends) Enjoy, and don’t forget your racket and some balls!
