About club
We’ll take public transport from London, probably Victoria Station, and find a wilderness camping spot - either off the beaten track wild camping, or official campsites that aren’t caravan parks (think mountain, forest, river, beach ideally). We’ll head out sometime between 10:00-15:00, take a nice easy hike in, exploring the area, and then find an appropriate campsite. I’ve done many wild camping trips in South Africa, Scotland, and I know UK isn’t officially allowed, but mostly accepted if in small groups, keeping a small footprint, setting up after sunset and leaving before sunrise, and leaving no trace. For this reason, ideally a small group of 2-4 people. Keeping it minimal - no fires, discrete tents, lightweight gear for an easy hike in. Considering Exmoor National Park (good stargazing!) or South Downs National Park (good forests).
