I've been volunteering on Christmas morning at Covenant House for years and every experience is always so rewarding. Covenant House is a safe haven for youth who are homeless. The organization gives them shelter and also offers skill-building courses to help them find jobs and eventually afford a place of their own. Covenant Houses can be found all over the country and in other countries as well! The one in Los Angeles is located in Los Feliz. The first volunteer slot is at 8. If you're not a morning person, there are some later slots (10 or 11). The flyer lists the details but feel free to contact me with any questions.
