Hello Everyone ! ☀️☀️☀️ Let’s explore this fascinating Greenwich Campus together !!! It is a masterpiece of design sitting on the banks of the Thames. Superb neo-classical buildings now housing Trinity Laban School of Music as well as University of Greenwich. This iconic riverside estate boasts 500 years of rich history linking an incredible cast of monarchs and famous British figures including King Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth I, William Shakespeare, King William and Queen Mary and Vice-Admiral Lord Nelson. The Painted Hall is the jewel in the crown and known as 'Britain's Sistine Chapel', whose murals were created by Sir James Thornhill between 1707 and 1726. The area is free to wander around, but we need to get tickets to visit the Painted Hall. There is a multimedia guide with headset included in the ticket price. Alternatively, we can take an Uber boat to Blackfriars (42 minutes travel time) or a sightseeing boat to Westminster (additional costs involved) if the weather is nice !
