Join Leisure Enterprise for a full day at the Henry Moore Foundation to explore the house, gardens and legacy of one of modernity’s most famous sculptors. We will visit Henry Moore's family home, Hoglands, which houses Moore’s own art collection and the curiosities that often inspired his sculpture. It was central to both family life and Henry Moore's work. Our visit will include a lunch and a walk along the vast grounds populated by sheep and sculptures. We will view Moore’s monumental works as he intended against the backdrop of nature and the landscape he shaped. Having been sufficiently inspired by the surroundings we will create our own photographic sculptures and memories inspired by the landscape and shapes of Henry Moore’s work. Date Sunday 12th June Schedule 10 am - Pick up from London on a minibus from a location in South Kensington Arrival to Henry Moore Foundation 11.30am - Tour of the Hoglands (Henry Moore’s House) 12.45pm - Lunch 2.00pm - Tour of the new exhibition, the Aisled Barn, the Studios and Gardens. 3.30pm - A leisurely visit of the gardens 5 pm - Minibus back to London Price £120 early bird/ members £150 full price The price includes the tours, lunch and transportation from London and back.
