This show - entitled ‘Psychological Material’ - pays homage to Sigmund Freud and psychoanalysis. The exhibition is composed of two complimentary sets of works: the ‘Portraits’ and the ‘Body’ series. Together they explore emotion, instinct and the unconscious. Each ‘Portrait’ is named after a particular Freudian psychoanalytical concept.
