Every year Black Friday coupled up with Fast fashion has been creating a myriad of problems for our communities and planet from; massive CO2 increases (429,000 tonnes in in 2020), over consumption resulting in waste and workers being further exploited. As an alternative to Black Friday I wish to invite you to this workshop where we are offering a chance to up-cycle your old t-shirts through screen printing and crafting! This is a opportunity to experience up-cycling and meet like minded people. Agenda: - Group mingling - Introduction to event - Screen printing your old Tee - Clothes swapping! - Up-cycling a Tee into a tote bag The workshop is free of charge. All you need is to bring 2-3 tees with you, 1-2 for screen printing a design or swapping from our range of pre-loved clothes & another for the tote bag workshop where you will turn your tee into a bag! As the experience is free, I won’t accept 0 requests. Let’s support our environment & raise money!
