Turning Tides Festival

11 Sep, 1:30 PM–8:00 PM  ·  Greenwich

Event details

A free world music festival on the Greenwich Peninsula. There will be an eclectic line up with performances from Glastonbury festival artists DakhaBrakha, a world-music quartet from Kyiv and Nubiyan Twist, an ultra-tight musicianship and a powerful 10 piece band. Plus, many more artists such as Wayne Snow, Fehdah and Brixton Chamber Orchestra. They are also partnering with Love Welcomes for this year's Turning Tides. Love Welcomes is a creative social enterprise that helps refugee women begin to stitch their lives back together. Launched in 2017 it was created in response to the refugee crisis in Greece. Today it works in Greenwich supporting those who have been resettled, through above living-wage employment. Turning Tides is a free music festival but tickets are required. Please follow the link below to book. Only tickets for Sep 11th are still available. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/turning-tides-festival-tickets-380926550567
