What is the club about? Builders Club is a place where you can realise your potential as a creator, a place where dreamers and doers unite, a place where you can fulfil your desire of making things by getting your hands dirty, turning nothing into something applying your transformative powers. The first thing we're going to build is the club itself. We’ll start with simple project that each of us can build in a month, working alone or with a buddy. Then those who are ready and willing to do so can team up with each other builders to to focus on building something bigger. The condition is the same: an MVP should be finished in a month. In this journey, we will learn to work together, support each other, share our experience and expertise, and give and receive constructive feedback (as well as how not to give feedback). Who would get the most value out of The Builders Club? If you have and Idea for a project that is possible to build in about a month, be it and app, a website, a particular feature for an open source project, a browser extension or CLI tool that you can present when you’re done building, this is the right place. If you don’t have such an idea (yet?), but you do like the spirit of the club and are happy to join your efforts with other builders, please welcome. Why am I creating this community I have been trying to engage my friends and coworkers in building things together, playing with shiny new tech, making a game — you name it. And I realised how hard it was to get through to people who do not show that interest in the first place. I decided to change my strategy and go to people who share the same passion and possibly face the same challenges, with a call to get together and have fun doing what we want to do. Let’s build! FAQ What if my project doesn’t fit in a month? You can reduce the functionality so it fits and add more feature later. Let’s have a nice dopamine respond when we have archived something, shall we? What happens to my project after a month? It’s up to you or your team to decide. You can continue working on the next iteration of that project, start another one or join with the other builders. Can I join if I don’t have a project idea yet? Absolutely! The club is about collaboration and learning. You can join existing projects or get inspired to develop your own idea. Will we be monetising our projects? If you feel like doing so and see the potential, it would be a shame not to try. I don’t know how to code, can I still join? Why of course! Do you have a product vision? Are you good with UI/UX? Maybe you're an SEO wizard or an expert in your field who can pitch your idea to other builds and ready to do your part in the project.
