So as part of another book club I’m currently reading Milkman by Anna Burns, which won the Man Booker prize in 2018. I was thinking about the other Booker prize winning novels I’ve read over the years which have been similarly excellent and thinking about how it would be worth working backwards to read them all from 2022 all the way back to 1969. After a chat with a fellow book club member we’ve decided to add those shortlisted to the pool too. I’m thinking of meeting every second month for a chat about it and drinks.
