In this talk, we will examine the critical role of feelings in our lives, and how the modern world has hindered our ability to experience them fully. We will explore the reasons why we may have lost touch with our emotions and how this affects our connections with ourselves and others. We will then delve into the different techniques and practices that can help us regain our innate gift of feeling. Following this, we will practice RAIN meditation, which is a powerful tool for cultivating a deeper relationship with our emotions. RAIN stands for Recognize, Allow, Investigate, and Nurture, and it can be used to work through difficult emotions and experiences. Through the practice of RAIN meditation, we will learn to recognise and acknowledge our emotions, investigate their underlying causes, and nurture ourselves with self-compassion as we navigate our emotional landscape.
