Join us for a monster mash-up of fun drama games and improv exercises that go bump in the night! Come in costume, prizes to be won! (18+) Act UP Drama Club is a place to explore your creativity, express yourself, & play fun drama games. (No experience required, aged 18 and over) Join us for our first ever Halloween event! Expect: Ice breakers Fun drama games Exciting, spooky improv exercises PLUS, we'll also be running a COSTUME CONTEST with prizes! Everyone will have the chance to anonymously vote for the who they think has the best costume, so make sure you dress to kill ;) And the best part? We've got a lively bar downstairs, so you can sip and socialise all in one place. It's a party you won't want to miss! Don't forget to come in your amazing costumes! Our sessions are run by an experienced Acting Facilitator, who will help you discover the joy of improvisation and drama games in a supportive and fun environment. Agenda: There will be two workshops happening, one after the other. We recommend just booking on to one. The winners of the costume contest will be announced after BOTH workshops have finished, so you will have plenty of time to socialise in the bar downstairs. The bar will also be open before your session starts :) 7:30-8:45pm: First Workshop Session. (Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session starts) 8:45-10:00pm: Second Workshop Session. (Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your session starts) 10:00-11:00pm: Costume contest winners announced and time to socialise in the bar!
