Every Wednesday night Sofitel Hotel at Beverly Hills ( across the street from Beverly Center Mall) organizes Salsa night. It is magnificent, with great turnout, live salsa band, and It starts with a one hour free class at 9 pm. They do charge a $20 cover starting at 9 pm, so if you want to avoid paying the cover charge, make sure to arrive before 9 pm.
