Hi guys, Ahead of most auctions, houses like Christie’s and Sotheby’s make temporary exhibitions and offer a chance to the public to see their incredible lots for free. This June both Christie’s and Sotheby’s will be holding Russian art sales. Christie’s will display paintings and works by leading artists from the 18th to the 21th centuries, including Faberge and Imperial jewels. Sotheby’s will display several works of Ivan Aivazovsky, Faberge pieces and icons. We will attend both Christie’s and Sotheby’s on 6 June, around noon. I will take a group of up to 5 people.
