Wanderers of Colour Climbing Club (WOCCC) Meetup Location: BETHWALL GREEN, E2 9QX Timings- Arrive: 4:45pm Session Starts: 5pm Finish: Session to officially finish around 7:00pm, although you can stay for longer or shorter! 🧗‍♂️What to expect?✨ -Climbing meetup by and for Black/POC, with post-climb social. -We will be bouldering! “Bouldering is climbing up to 4 metres above ground, using soft mats as protection.” -Supportive and welcoming environment. -Meet new awesome people and make climbing buddies! -Opportunity to learn and develop climbing skills. -All abilities are welcome! Whether you’re a complete beginner or an advanced climber there will be bouldering routes for you. -This is not a teaching session but some of the team will be present to support you -If you’re under 18 you’ll need to be accompanied by an adult 🧗Cost✨ We do not charge for meetups. You will need to pay to enter Bethwall Green climbing gym. Entry has been subsidised for WOCCC members, so will cost £8.50, with no registration fee (you save about £5!!) All attendees will receive free shoe hire (you save about £4!) If you are on low income we are able to cover the cost of 5 members entering the Bethwall Green climbing gym.
