Event details
Dear Locals, come and join me next Friday (24/06) for a photo exhibition in London’s one and only Hungarian restaurant. The pictures were taken by Yamam Nabeel, who has a wonderful eye to catch the uniqueness of everyday moments. And the restaurant makes delicious Hungarian food and has more than 70 different Hungarian wines, including organic and bio wines. If you haven’t tried Hungarian cuisine yet, here’s your chance to do so. Hope to see many of you there next week! 🙂 A little description about the event: ‘Yamam Nabeel is a London-based , Iraqi writer and photographer. Born in Iraq, exiled with his family in 1980, he spent a large part of his childhood in Hungary, before his family moved to the UK. He attributes his love of literature and art to his upbringing in Hungary, a country he considers as his second home. His first works were written in Hungarian when he was 16 years old. His Iraqi heritage, his Hungarian upbringing and his life in the UK from the age of 16, has created an amalgamation of cultures, resulting in a very unique way of writing that draws from all three backgrounds. The opening event will be a chance to meet the artist and find out more about the process in which he creates his unique stories that go along with his images. As part of the evening Yamam will be reading some of his stories The selection of images exhibited are available as limited edition, signed prints. This event is open to the public and will be an opportunity to meet Yamam Nabeel and enjoy authentic Hungarian cuisine. Please join us at the Rosemary on Friday the 24th of June to celebrate this rich body of work and the Hungarian culture that has inspired it.’ Entry to this event is free, so you should book your place in advance.
