A place to experiment, to be expressive, to collaborate, to connect, and try something new. I want this to feel like home for you. A community space. Here we embody the message of being “expressive not impressive” as I set up a space that is judgment free and opens you up to deeply connect with others. Whether you are in the audience or up on the stage you will feel seen and welcome. We come together in these expressive moments, and memories are made. Previously, we've seen Musicians, Bands, Poets, Comedians, Storytellers, Interpretive Dance Pieces, and Interactive Performances grace our stage. People have come here together and felt surprised by the number of new friends they have left with, not expecting to make a group of friends so quickly. In the moment collaborations took place at these events. First-time performances and new styles emerged. This is a playground for connection and creativity When we are here, nothing else in the world matters This event will take place at the Cat and Mutton - Hackney, 76 Broadway Market, London E8 4RA - The event will start at 6:45pm At this time we will have a chance to connect with each other. We will chat and have a drink or two. For performers, this will be a good time to sign up and find out when you’ll be on. -Open mic pieces will begin at 7:30 The first performance will be interactive, giving everyone a charge of confidence and an opportunity to interact and build meaningful connections with each other. -Music and Poetry from 8-10:45 The pieces will be expressive, meaningful, and uplifting. There will be a variety of performers with a variety of styles all willing to share a part of their soul with you. Throughout these performances, there will be interactive pieces that bring everyone together into shared and exciting experiences. I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
