Let’s start our week off right by energetically monkeying around at Vauxwall East climbing wall on Monday morning. This is their super off-peak session, so it’s only £5! (Usually £14.50 in peak sessions). They’ve got a little cafe there so we can grab a coffee and a cookie afterwards. £2 registration fee if you haven’t been to any of the Walls before, and £3.70 shoe hire and £2 chalk hire if you need them. You’re welcome to share my chalk. What to wear: comfortable gym clothes that give you a good range of movement. E.g. leggings, joggers, shorts, T-shirt, vest top. Climbing shoes, or trainers. This is my first hosted Locals event and I hope lots of people can join. All abilities welcome and, although I’m not an amazing climber, I’m happy to help orientate newbies into the sport. As we’re getting cheap tickets, it would be awesome if you could donate the difference to my chosen charity who are working super hard in this current situation.
