About club

Hey Everyone! I'm starting a mental health support group, so if you feel like you need an outlet to discuss what you're going through, or just want to be around other people that understand you .. or just want a hug, please join. We can talk about what we've been through, what helps us, what doesn't and what we can do to improve our mental states. The first step here, is connection. X Mental health affects around 20 million people in the UK alone. It's so important, to have people to lean on, so if you don't or do and want more (You can never have enough!), please let this group be that tool for you. Mental health comes in all shapes and sizes, from all different causes. Be it depression, anxiety, eating/personality disorders, trauma related or more, it doesn't matter, you are not alone. That's why we're here. And it is not your fault X. I hope to arrange a safe space for us to meet, grab a coffee/drink, and you can discuss what you've been going through/ or just listen, no judgement... Or even just want to come for a hug, that's ok! They're free ☺️ My own journey, has been a difficult one, and I know how important it is to be able to talk about X. I will post polls for dates and locations, this is a mixed group. Both women and men suffer alike, although, men tend to find it harder to open up, not be seen as weak, which is why most people aren't aware of it (men count for about 70% of suicides in the UK alone). This group is here for everyone... But if there are a few people who feel like it would benefit them, we can do a few separate events for men and women.. although I think it would be nice to be inclusive, I do understand that some people would not be comfortable with sharing with the opposite sex due personal reasons, and that's ok too. 💕 No spectators/ researchers please. Only genuine people. X
