Me and my dear friend @natasupernova have been devastated with the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. As both of us will be in Dubai on the 6th March, we have decided to create a Mini Padel Tournament to raise awareness of the victims of this tragedy. We will be co-hosting this event together on Locals, where we will be inviting our friends to support us. I understand that a month will have passed since the earthquake has happened, and I know many of us can/will become numb to this tragedy but we must not forget the effort needed will take years, even decades for normality to resume in those regions. So in true Locals style join us for the first ever Locals Mini Padel Tournament, where happiness and excitement will be guaranteed as well as doing good for a cause. Show your skills and compete against other beginners (professionals aren’t welcome!)) in town for the chance to win a prize! If you are not in Dubai and can’t make the event you can still support and participate in the chat where we will be having lots of discussions, posting updates and pictures from the event. Minimum fee are $100 but feel free to support with what you can. I’m finally pleased to announce the location of our venue is Smash Fitness and Club. If you guys have Padel rackets please feel free to bring your own otherwise we will have rackets available. Please wear sporty clothing so it’s easy for you to play without being uncomfortable.
