You’ll be directed through a series of painting exercises to pieces of music, designed to help you tune in and respond expressively as you listen. Each workshop will have a different playlist with varying types of music ranging from jazz to experimental electronic. Expect to get out of your comfort zone, experience a new way of making art that challenges conventions and will help shake up your creative practice (or inspires you to initiate one) Where the idea of painting on music comes from? Because I have synaesthesia - a rare sensory condition that not only shapes my works but also the way I experience daily life - I’m able to depict sounds on canvas. This is the best to understand the process and let it go! Come meet other creative, open minded people and have a blast making some art! All materials provided and all artistic abilities welcome. Bring something comfy to wear, and your refillable cup for a coffee or a tea. Sparkling white wine included.
