Have you ever heard of Swedish FIKA? If you are a fan of cinnamon pastries and nice coffee this is something that you cannot miss. Fika is often translated as "a coffee and cake break", which is kind of correct, but really it is much more than that. Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat. So, let’s disconnect from any form of stress and enjoy a nice chat with coffee and Swedish pastries 🥮 Then FIKA HACKNEY, on Chatsworth Road in Hackney, is the ideal spot for trying fika in London. Above all, they offer different vegan and gluten-free options. Since Fika should be something cozy, I have set a max of 5 people for this experience. —- I will prioritise donations fist!! Also, please make sure that you can make it —-
