Hi Locals 💛 I am a professional musician and new on the app. @will is helping me creating my first post here. Thank you! On Sunday 19th June I am hosting a concert in St. John’s Wood in one of the most beautiful churches in the area. Classical concert that will bring the audience as close as possible to the birds’ world. ‘Let the birds sing!’ brings together a selection of musical pieces inspired by bird songs. The programme has been created to invite the audience to re-imagine our place within nature, what birdsong means to us, and what it can tell us about music. There is no concert experience quite like this! The musicians, who will present these carefully chosen pieces of music, will bring the audience as close as possible to the birds’ world - focusing their attention on the importance of the natural world as an essential part of human life. An exhibition by artist Sarah Mayohes, and the book ‘Silent Spring’ by Rachel Carson inspired this unique musical journey.
