Tango changed my life. Until a year ago I felt very awkward any time I had to dance. I always tried to avoid those situations, but at the same time, I was amazed by Tango every time I saw dancers in movies or tv-series. So much passion, elegance, connection! Finally, after months I decided to be brave, I had to learn it! While learning Tango with @theargentinetangoschool and@davlantilo_tango two professional dancers and international champions - but most importantly two amazing human beings - any fear I had disappeared. But it’s not simply that. My teachers, and now best friends, taught me a type of dance that is built on respect and care for each other, combined with passion, elegance and most importantly: connection. I will never be grateful enough, because in a world where I felt maybe more connected online but ever more disconnected in reality, Tango has allowed me to become human again. I connected and socialised with people in a safe and friendly environment, I learned how to dance I shined in every friend group because nobody knew how to dance tango I finally overcome my shyness when dancing and so much more!
