Jazz cafe Tulum vibes

13 Jan, 10:30 PM  ·  Camden

Event details

Jazz cafe is one of my fav spots for good music in London with its non-pretentious, friendly vibes. It’s time to bring Tulum vibes to London with DJs El Buho, Baiuca and Bushbby who are bringing Latin American tropical organic music to life. Come join us for a fun night! More info 👇 Latin American folk rhythms featuring organic sounds, whistles and birdsong meets downtempo electronica. Having lived in Mexico City for a number of years, El Búho has drawn significant influence from Mexico’s cultural traditions, incorporating elements of Latin American music and the region’s natural sounds into his personal style of organic, folk-tinged electronic music. Baiuca is the project of Alejandro Guilán, who wanted to mix traditional music from his region of Galicia with an electronic backdrop. He aims to integrate traditional Galician instrumental and vocal samples through the contemporary aesthetics of Techno / House / Global Bass clubs. Bushbby is a British-Colombian London based DJ and artist who explores the sounds and roots of Latin American music. They are heavily inspired by the sounds of the Caribbean and the soundsystems she grew up around in both Barranquilla, Colombia and the UKs underground.
