Ahmed started his acting career at the age of 19. Ahmed’s parents left Helwan, Egypt for Riverside, USA in 1970 when he was one month old. His father pumped gas at Shell for $1.75 an hour, eventually purchasing the station. His mother stayed home with six kids. After several years of being typecast as terrorists and cabdrivers, he decided to shift into stand-up comedy to have a voice. He is an internationally touring comedian and has been in the comedy business for 30 years. He’s also the co-founder of the groundbreaking Axis Of Evil Comedy Tour which aired on Comedy Central and later went on to make history taking that tour all around the Middle East performing for over 20,000 people. Ahmed has been seen on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, has 2 Showtime comedy specials, Vince Vaughn‘s Wild West Comedy Show, WEEDS, Swingers, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan and Iron Man. He’s been in dozens of news articles and press including The View, CNN, Wall Street Journal, NPR, BBC, TMZ, NY Times and Post, News Week and GQ. He made his directorial debut with his award-winning documentary called Just Like Us which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival and had a life on Netflix, Starz, Showtime and other streaming platforms. This documentary garnered him an invite to the White House to have dinner with President Barack Obama. Opening Act: Sean Fawaz Sean Fawaz is an actor/comedian of Lebanese/Taiwanese Sevent from Huntington Beach, California. He has been on ABC, NBC, and MTV, and has performed at the Comedy Store, Hollywood Improv, Caroline’s on Broadway, Long Beach Laugh Factory, and the Ice House. - Show is in English. - All Tickets are non Refundable. - Bar opens 6:00pm and show starts 7:00pm. - Arrive 30 minutes before the show. The show time is the showtime, not the doors open time. - The bar is open from at least one hour prior to showtime. We start on time and we cannot undertake to admit latecomers. Latecomers present a particular problem at The Cockpit because of the layout of the auditorium. There is no standing room and latecomers are a very visible distraction.
