Let's go and see the famous Ouse Valley Viaduct! It's a great place to take photos, so I'm certainly bringing camera to practice my skills. Join me on a hike through the valley from Balcombe to Haywards Heath. The plan: 13:00 Meet at St Pancras International. Take Thameslink to Balcombe (13:30 - 14:25). Tickets: 11.10 - 18.60￡ 14:25 - ... Hiking. The plan on Komoot: https://www.komoot.com/tour/859166063. The total length is about 10km, it should take 2 to 3 hours to complete. Even with many breaks, it shouldn't take more than 4 hours, so we will have plenty of time to shoot our photos of the viaduct. ~ 17:00 - 18:00 Finishing hike at Haywards Heath. The train back to London Victoria leaves from there every 15-20 minutes. Tickets: 9.00 - 16.30￡ Please, take some water and, optionally, snacks. Before returning to London, we can have some drinks in a pub. The trains will be available up until very late. Note #1: All train ticket prices are written *without* railcards. So, probably, it will be even cheaper. Note #2: I'm not a hiking guide. I'm just a casual user of Komoot with an old camera from mpb.com.
