Hi ladies, We are organizing a GWM private art gallery tour led by the talented @susanmbchen ✨ On Saturday, March 30th, we will meet at 4.30 PM at Rachel Uffner Gallery in the Lower East Side to view Susan Chen’s “Plan B Exhibition” and around 5.30 PM we will move next door to Biga Bite for some drinks & mingles! ✨ Please RSVP & join the chat only if you are interested in joining as we have limited capacity and want to make sure to bring a group together for ladies who can actually make it on that day 🥰 we appreciate your help! ❤️ Please note this is a free event, and if you enjoy this fun hangout plan we’ll be sharing a link in the chat to accept donations that will go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society @llsusa ❤️ More info about the exhibition below 👇🏼 Plan B is Susan Chen’s second solo exhibition at Rachel Uffner Gallery. The show forges an impressive new artistic direction for Chen, whose multimedia presentation includes a collection of ceramics alongside her signature large-scale, impasto-heavy portraits. All 39 figures in her vibrant canvases were painted live, each invited by Chen to her studio for a 3-hour afternoon session, during which she painted their likeness and listened to their stories. Chen’s topics of interest are varied, ranging from political to personal to professional, but there continues to exist a clear throughline bearing Chen’s commitment to community, identity, and women’s rights. Description of Rachel Uffner Gallery Rachel Uffner Gallery launched in September 2008 as a gallery dedicated to supporting multi-generational artists working in a variety of mediums.
