Eros Talks with Nicole Daedone and Dr. Topeka Sam

6 Jun, 1:30 PM  ·  Hamilton Heights

Event details

Join us Thursday, June 6 at 1:30pm ET for a Talk with Nicole Daedone, OneTaste co-Founder and Creator of Orgasmic Meditation, and Dr. Topeka K. Sam, Founder of Ladies of Hope Ministries in Harlem. Nicole and Topeka will speak on women's power, reclaiming of women's sexuality, incarceration of women and more. Eros Talks are a one-hour event featuring Nicole and a special guest in a forum exploring current trends from the eye of Eros. These talks, exploring topics such as power, community, social justice, sexuality, and mysticism, are inspired by The Eros Sutras, a 5-volume series written by Nicole exploring a feminine path rooted in a philosophy of unconditional love. Dr. Topeka K. Sam started the non-profit, Ladies of Hope Ministries, based on what she saw during her time in prison. She recognized that prison wasn’t really designed for anyone, but it was especially not designed for women, and that as a society, we were missing out on a huge opportunity to create flourishing human beings if we’d just set up the systems correctly. Ladies of Hope Ministries is now a national network of re-entry homes for women coming out of prison, including one in the Bronx. Nicole Daedone is the co-Founder of OneTaste, creator of Orgasmic Meditation, and the author of The Eros Sutras, which remind us that love is the ultimate language and key to all things, and can manifest in many forms, from difficult experiences that help us grow, to desires that draw us forward into the unknown. Nicole Daedone is the co-Founder of OneTaste, creator of Orgasmic Meditation, and the author of The Eros Sutras. * Follow Nicole's work on instagram: instagram.com/nicoledaedone * Visit nicoledaedone.com * Explore Nicole's books on soulmakerpress.com. * Explore the OM App here. She is a co-founder of FRESH, the first ever bank built specifically for those affected by the criminal justice system who are more often than left without banking solutions. She was behind the passing of federal laws, including one that made it illegal to keep incarcerated women in restraints while in labor. She was awarded a coveted Soros Fellowship. She received a Presidential Pardon. She’s been featured in every major publication, championed by people on both sides of the aisle as a woman with pure heart and skill in execution.
