Owing to the popularity of the event a few weeks ago and a few subsequent requests for a repeat, let’s do it. 🍕 L’Antica in Hampstead, to me, is the best representation of authentic Italian pizza in London. Being half-Italian, I spent every summer of my childhood in Naples, and this restaurant reminds me of the food I had all those years ago more than any other in London. The ingredients they use are all excellent quality, with authentic buffalo mozzarella, the correct flour and imported Italian tomatoes. All pizzas are cooked in a proper pizza oven. The wine selection is made up of excellent local gems and they have the non-export brown Peroni beers for that added touch of authenticity. The Holly Bush pub is a stone’s throw away if anyone wants to have a couple more glasses after supper. See you there! Thanks, Stef x
