They carry out studies and works in the Force of Orixá. Their main focus is the study of mediumship, incorporation and the connection with the entities and guides. They are currently on tour in Europe sharing their studies and rituals, offering an opportunity for all those who seek to know more about the Orixás and the Afro-Brazilian traditions. Recognising the Orixás as a manifestation of the sacred forces of nature and they praise them though chants, dances, ancestral drumming, the use of herbs and the transmission of oral knowledge. In this healing experience we will salute and work with the forces of Orixás Oxum, Oxumaré and Ewá. They rule the fresh waters, the rainbow and the fog, they are the sacred serpents and bring renewal, movement and the deepest emotions. We will guide meditations, body movements, share myths and knowledge from the Afro-Brazilian oral tradition. The word Yabás means “Great Mother”, and it is how we refer to the feminine Orixás in the Afro-Brazilian religious traditions. The Gira is one of the main sacred rituals of the Umbanda and is a spiritual space where we open up to the connection with our spiritual guides and mentors. In the Gira the process of opening to contact the spiritual realm is done with songs, drumming and other fundamentals of Umbanda through the force of the Grandmother.
