Event details
If you are a visual artist, musician, composer, singer, writer, author, or identify in any way as a creative person, this event is for YOU. At each session, we'll be going through a couple of the exercises from the Stanford Hasso Plattner School of Design (aka d.school) text "Creative Acts for Curious People: How to Think, Create, and Lead in Unconventional Ways" by Sarah Stein Greenberg. We'll start with some icebreakers, then jump right into the exercises. Bring a pen and notebook, and be prepared to write, sketch, and be vulnerable. First session is free of charge. If you don't believe it's possible to become more creative in 90min, watch my talk from TEDx SF where 96% of the audience becomes measurably more creative in 18min: http://goo.gl/5CkfE Agenda: 0.00-0.15: Gather; order breakfast, tea, coffee 00.15-0.30: Introductions, icebreakers, pre-test 0.30: First exercise (15min) 0.50: Second exercise (20min) 1.10-1.30: Post-test & close
