We run workshops to help communities learn new skills and create positive change ✨ Craft Forward is a not-for-profit based in London: we run arts and crafts workshops that connect people while teaching you new skills. Our biggest project is Blankets for London: every year we assemble knitted and crocheted blankets to distribute to people experiencing houselessness across the city. To support the project, we run The Knit Club, a series of free workshops run mainly from our HQ in Brixton, but also all over London 🏙️ In this club we will post all of our volunteering opportunities, you’ll be the first to know about our upcoming workshops, we host semi-regular Make Alongs and we share our makes 🫶 You might know us from our Instagram, you might have come to one of our workshops, or you might just be a crafty person that’s found our club on Locals: it’s great to see you here! 🧶 This group is to connect online with each other outside of our in-person workshops and share our passion for arts and crafts.
