Castles, Daffodils, Cherry Blossoms, Kimonos, Costumes, and a Village Day Trip. Hi 👋. Days are getting longer and a bit warmer, which means it's time for day trips out of London 🥳. I've decided on Hever Castle, Chiddingstone Castle + Village for the weekend of the 22/23 March as my first trip and decided to create this event to get a group together. There's loads happening in the area that weekend as visitors can expect Daffodils and Cherry Blossoms to start blooming, there's also a Kimino Exhibition, Costumes from Wolf Hall series on display and on the Sunday only there's a Plant Fair. You are looking at around £50 for castle + train tickets from London and would need to also budget for food and other expenses. It is going to be a long day out (11 hours), and you can expect to walk at least 8 miles on the day.
