Come and learn qigong! Pronounced “chee-gong.” Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice of moving energy throughout your body. It is essentially a moving meditation with extraordinary benefits in your physical, mental and energetic bodies. I will be teaching shibashi qigong, which is 18 gentle and slow movements that are designed to balance all meridians and increase blood flow throughout your body. In a world where we are constantly moving and doing a million things at once, qigong will slow you down and get you more in touch with your inner self. Some of the many benefits of qigong include: • lower blood pressure • improved digestion • increased overall strength and balance • helps loosen joints and muscles • helps to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms • improved sleep • boosts your overall health and immune system • balances all meridians and organs Qigong is for every-body! It doesn’t matter the age or physical condition… Everyone can practice and benefit from qigong. Bring water and wear comfortable loose-fitting clothing.
