Learn to be your own therapist; break unwanted patterns with psychotherapist Anna Jackson All behaviour has a positive intention, however not all behaviour is positive. These are coping mechanisms that are supposed to help us, but actually end up holding us back. In this workshop Anna will show you how to keep the positive intent but put it to good use, which changes the negative behaviour. We deal with a lot of stress and anxiety in our day to day lives. Anna Jackson (The Priory and private practice on Harley Street) shares with us ways to identify unhealthy coping behaviours that we’ve developed, but want to change. The workshop is a great addition to existing therapy you may be having, or as a stand alone exercise to get you to think about the behavioural patterns you have, and why they do or don’t work. In addition we’ll look at where they may have come from, whether they still serve you or whether they are an outdated and often destructive approach that you don’t need; yet have become a habit that is proving difficult to break. In coming to the workshop you have already mentally made the decision, that there’s something you do in your life that isn’t working for you, and you have decided you are going to change it. The workshop shows you how. The workshop includes: • Intention setting • A history on behavioural patterns and coping mechanisms • Thought provoking exercises • Stress response and accountability hacks When - 2nd November Where - Soho Works, Dean Street
