Inspired by the masters Fakhra Ijaz :
Meet Fakhra, a Pakistani artist who has dedicated her life to the canvas. Born and raised in Wazirabad, Pakistan, she draws inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry that surrounds her. The vibrant colors of the bazaars, the intricate patterns, and the serene landscapes of her homeland influence her work. Her favorite time to create is the quietude of early mornings, where the world is still and ideas flow freely. Influenced by classical artist like Paul Cezzane and Monet and observing contemporary painters such as Sadequain, she weaves tradition and modernity into her canvases. about Fakhra: Motivated by a lifelong love for creativity, she finds success in the connection her art forms with others. Beyond the canvas, art has been a guiding force in her life, providing solace and purpose. Her artistic skills have developed through years of practice, observation, and a continuous curiosity about the world around her. Gracia Orah:
Gracia. I’m from Indonesia and now I’m living in New York and currently taking a fine art masters degree at New York Academy of Art. My artwork tends to explore my personal experiences with a touch of profound emotion. I often create a narrative painting About this Body of work:This “3 AM Conversation” series tells about the journey of a modern artist who met several different artists from other eras. In this painting, the characters were Basquiat, Da Vinci, Van Gogh, and Cezanne. Trisasongko: Tri Sasongko, a revered Javanese artist, masterfully blends traditional Batik with contemporary techniques, crafting art steeped in spiritual storytelling. Influenced by his family's 200-year batik legacy in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.. His global exhibitions, including UNESCO and ASEAN art awards, showcase his talent. Tri Sasongko's artistic prowess, nurtured at The Indonesian Institute of Fine Art (ISI), led to solo exhibitions and explorations into hand-dyeing techniques, enriching his fabric designs. His studio in Taman Sari welcomes art enthusiasts for immersive batik workshops. His art journey blends tradition, innovation, and a passion for evolving Batik's legacy. About inspiration to this body work: I draw from the pioneering spirits of Pablo Picasso, Aubrey Beardsley, and Egon Schiele, I seek to synthesise elements of their groundbreaking techniques and distinctive styles into my own artistic voice. Through a fusion of fragmented perspectives, intricate detailing, and emotive figuration, my art endeavors to pay homage to these influential artists while forging a path toward an expression that is uniquely mine. Their legacies continue to fuel my creative exploration, guiding me toward an artistry that seeks to challenge, provoke, and resonate with audiences on a visceral and emotional level. Valentino Febri: Valentino Febri, has been painting since a child being born into family of artists, he to seriously pursue the world of fine arts, especially painting at the Yogyakarta Indonesian Institute of Arts, he is from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. About this body of work & his style and inspiration: I was influenced by my father first, because he taught me about painting techniques and good strokes and colors in painting. The artists I admire are Van Gogh, Henry Mattise, henry rousseau and local Indonesian artists, namely Kartono Yudhokusumo and Sudjojono We wanted to bring together these four artists who we have visited during 2023 in their studios in Indonesia & Pakistan and whose works and dedication to arts also meets our passion and love of imagination. In 2023 we covered an exhibition for 17 artists inside the Marriott hotel, Yogyakarta Indonesia. This exhibition was a non profit event and we managed to sell works in order for the artists to give back to the community & also in support to give the artists some funding. We always remain in contact with any artists we meet and also try to support them in anyway we can.
