About me
Newish to London, after living down under (Melbourne) for 8 years! I’m originally from Ecuador and the US, but am kind of a citizen of the world (I’ve lived in 5 continents, 7 countries and 10 cities 🗺️). I’m hoping to explore London more and meet like-minded friends 🫶🏼 My professional background is in infectious disease genomic epidemiology (yes, it’s been a busy couple of years!). My work involves developing new analytical tools and methods to solve complex problems in malaria. Basically I get to work on a bunch of exciting projects in beautiful countries with amazing collaborators. In a past life I co-founded The Artisan Project, an ethical fashion startup working with talented artisans in Ecuador. I am an alum of the European Innovation Academy and Melbourne Accelerator Social Velocity Program, so I love staying connected to all sorts of innovative ventures!
