Welcome to the first London Business Club event. This event is like no other and is perfect for those who are starting out or trying to grow their business. Overall networking can be a massive waste of time. These events have been thoroughly thought out so it will make networking the best use of your time. Most networking events go like this: you turn up to a large room where you don’t know anyone. You probably get a drink (or several) before plucking up the courage to try and speak to someone. You are likely to spend most of the time on your phone. People will come to speak to you and try and get your details so they can market their product or service to you. As the evening roles on, people can get quite drunk and it can almost turn into a dating event. After the event you have a pocket full of business cards which you will never use and an inbox full of emails of spam. So how is the London Networking Club different? You will fill out a preform with your social media links and what it is you are looking to get from the event. The more specific and direct you are, the more likely you will find the right resource or solutions. For the first 30 minutes, we go round the room and you introduce yourself, what your business is (or business idea) and what it is you have come for. You are then put into groups of 3-4 and you discuss your business needs and challenges. This will last about 10-15 minutes. This will be repeated 3-4 times. The last 30 minutes is open networking. This is your chance to speak to those who you didn’t get chance to, also to try and help connect others. For example if in one of your huddles you meet someone who needs help with their YouTube channel and in another huddle you meet a YouTube marketer, you can introduce them! After the event you will be sent the list of attendees, their social media links (not emails or phone numbers) and their reason for attending. You can build you network and contact those who you ight be able to offer solutions to. This format has been extensively tested with amazing feedback. It is perfect for anyone who is new to networking and those who want to grow their business by finding new opportunities. At the heart of the events is the community. You will be part of something exciting, proactive and supportive of your business goals. Anyone who is found to be using the group for lead generation, multi-level marketing or dating, will not be invited to future events. This is a safe and constructive environment for all and professionally run by a very experienced host.
